The work
- Preparing M&E cost estimates and tender submissions
- Taking off quantities and pricing labour, plant and materials
- Seeking and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotes
- Supporting handover of won work to the delivery team
What's needed
- Estimating experience on M&E or building services work
- Ability to read drawings and produce accurate take-offs
- A methodical, commercially aware approach
Helpful, not essential
- Data centre or large-project estimating experience
- Estimating software familiarity
- A mechanical or electrical background behind the numbers
