The work
- Managing mechanical works on site: subcontractors, plant, programme and quality
- Keeping the package to budget and calling risks before they land
- Coordinating with the electrical package and the main programme
- Driving through commissioning, witnessing and handover
What's needed
- A track record delivering mechanical packages on commercial or industrial projects
- Comfort managing subcontractors and holding a programme
- A valid site ticket (SMSTS or equivalent) and a mechanical background you can stand behind
Helpful, not essential
- Data centre or critical-environment experience
- Cooling and pipework systems exposure at scale
- A relevant qualification (HNC/HND/degree), though delivered work matters more
